Skiffs Make a Splash: Two Boats Share Launching Day

Teams of students worked together to launch two of the skiffs that the class began building during the Fall quarter. Instructor Jody Boyle, who designed the work skiff based strongly on a Martha's Vineyard skiff design, commends the students. "They did a great job building a strong work skiff that is certainly built to last." Students also launched THIN LIZZY, a modified Atkins Baby Lou design, built under the instruction of Bruce Blatchley. View more photos the launchings HERE
