Back to Project:
A couple of years passed since our start in 2008 and our project progressed with varying success. In 2010 we managed to raise finds for the motor.
From the very beginning we tried to enlist expertize from the hot rod community. During the tough times for the custom auto industry, we had a hard time finding people ready to do the work needed to move our project ahead on our very limited budget. We had a couple of complete vehicle frame do overs as the work done did not meet the level of workmanship required.
We finally hit the jack pot with Kurt and Ewald from Jellybean Autocrafters from Surrey in 2011. They have a passion for cars and a passion for helping others. Thy proved to be a great ally in terms of 1935 Ford project. It has been great to see them showing the ropes to our young people while working on the 35 and having fun building a smaller project such as soapbox for our first annual derby in 2014. We are truly fortunate to have them on board.
