Progress that has been made so far is, a Crown Vic sub frame had been attached to the existing 65 Ford frame to allow us to use a 4.6 Liter engine. This will also allow this pick-up to have power steering when finished. Now the NCCC Auto Collision students are working on C-Notching the frame rails to allow us to install an Air Slammit 4 Link and Air Slammit air ride. Progress will start moving along much more quickly now that almost all the pieces to the puzzle have arrived.
1965 Ford Pick-up Restoration
The North Central Career Center in Bethany, MO is restoring this 1965 Ford Pick-up. This was made possible with the help of the RPM Foundation. The RPM Foundation gave us a 5,000 dollar grant to help fund the project. We will update Kool Projects with updates of our students in Automotive Collision and Automotive Technology working on this restoration.
