This is the early stages of my $125 Made in China guitar kit bought on eBay. The plan here in the Island Guitar Shop is to take a cheap kit, give it love and attention, and top quality components to turn it into an actual working electric guitar comparable to those purchased in Guitar Cellar or Long & McQuade.
The neck and back are mahogany and the body has a flamed maple top. My objective is to come up with a ‘distressed’ look to give the guitar character. There are videos in all of the Journal Entries.
