Freedom High School Plasma table
Freedom High School Automotive has been educating students in automotive, collision repair, and restoration since 1972! FHS has been a leader in automotive education in Wisconsin and the midwest and has been recognized nation wide! Despite programs success, funding is always a challenge! Through a grant from the RPM Foundation and a partnership with Wright CNC FHS was able to purchase a 4x4 plasma table. This table will be used to cut 2D CNC parts. This machine is a great addition to the automotive and restoration program as in enables FHS students to use CAD to design and cut their own custom parts. Students are currently designing Sbc alternator and power steering brackets that can be cut on the plasma table. Students are also able to showcase their creative side and create metal art projects, signs, and endless other possibilities!
